Spent a couple long-deserved hours this morning turning up The Taco List, STILL my most popular feature and one people reference daily and I feel bad for having it sag in maintenance for so long. It shows my last edit THREE YEARS AGO!!!!! So much house-keeping to do. Lots of things closed, lots of things open, lots of things changed, Some scores have gond DOWN, some scores have gone UP (very few), and ALL NEW REVISIONS will contain GOOGLE MAPS references as I try to wean you people off your horrible yelp habit. As most of you realize, taquerias almost NEVER have www’s and so classically (this list is well over 10 years old) I used yelp as mapping for your clicking pleasure. Since I have disavowed yelp long ago and have become rather huge on GOOGLE since, I will now be forcing the CORRECT mapping on you all! I have made my way all the way down the 101 and 1 through San Luis Obispo and into Pismo and have corrected some flagrant errors in 5-Cities but have really yet to delve hardcore into Santa Maria corrections. That will be a few more hours of work! Maybe tomorrow…..

EDIT 12.28.2025 OK, went through Santa Maria for a couple hours this morning and tightened a BUNCH of things up. Holy WOW how things change quickly. Also I got rid of the whole North & South situation and listed them kinda by Main St., North Broadway, South Broadway, Blosser, etc. That helps a lot–at least in my mind. Still have 5 or 10 spots to add but the general idea is there. Several I have eaten at in the past year have NO GOOGLE PRESENCE WHATSOEVER nor show up on street-view.
