LURE FISH HOUSE  Ventura   Added at   ♦  A nice place in a pinch.  Fair list.  Calimari excellent.  OK list.

EMPTY BOWL  Santa Barbara   ♦♦   A hustle-and-bustle joint in the Santa Barbara Public Market almost entirely populated with Asian customers.  Nice, round, asian-fusion menu with interesting takes on standards.  Serviceable list.
